Beforehand, you will receive a form with health assessment questions to fill out or at least read them through. I will review your answers or discuss these pre-screening questions with you and then determine if the massage is suitable for you.
Chair massage can cause uterine contractions, so if you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant, I will not be able to provide the massage. The information you provide will be treated as strictly confidential and will not be shared with third parties. The masseur cannot be held responsible for any damage and/or injury resulting from withholding medical information.

For a chair massage at your office or event, I will need at least 1m around the chair (a room should approximately be 9 m2). In a multi-story building, a working elevator is desirable. The space must have windows or effective air conditioning and be smoke-free. Massaging at an event requires different facilities. I would like to discuss these with you beforehand.

Employees can pre-register for various time slots. Registration can be done via a digital app or on a printed form. Employees receive a form with targeted health questions to fill out and bring this to the massage. Between each massage, I use 5 minutes to clean the chair and welcome the next client. After every 4 massages, breaks are scheduled, including 2 shorter breaks and 1 longer break (lunch). Clients are encouraged to wash their hands before the session and refrain from bringing their mobile phones or switch them to silent mode.

Yes, of course. Although it’s strongly advised to make it a returning part of your company’s vitality program. Research shows that 2 chair massages per month generate the best results. Thus, your employees strongly benefit from a regular chair massage.

When it comes to chair massage and the Dutch tax authority (Belastingdienst), there is a beneficial
rule that may apply. If chair massages are offered in the workplace as part of employee wellness or
occupational health, they often qualify for "nihilwaardering" (nil valuation) under the Work-Related
Expense Scheme (WKR). This means the cost of these massages is considered tax-free for both the
employer and employee, as long as they meet certain conditions, such as being provided on-site and
during working hours.
In short, workplace chair massages can be exempt from tax as long as they are part of the company’s
health and safety policy.
